Meet Taylor and Adam from Mississippi State University! Adam graduated in 2011 with a degree in Accounting, and Taylor graduated in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education. Their Love Story starts with a chance encounter set up by a mutual professor!

KC: How did you meet? Where?

T & A: We were set up by a mutual friend who was a professor at Mississippi State at the time. After over a year, we finally agreed to meet after a football game and immediately hit it off!

KC: What significance does Mississippi State University hold for you?

T & A: Mississippi State was and is such an important part of our lives. I am from Starkville and grew up only a few miles from campus, and Adam has been a die-hard fan his whole life. It was only fitting for us to meet, get engaged, and get married on campus.

KC: Do you think you would have ever met if it weren't for your school? Why or why not?

T & A: We definitely would not have met if it weren't for our ties to Mississippi State. Our school is so tightly woven in our relationship, that I can't imagine our lives if it weren't for State.

KC: What's your favorite thing to do together? Why?

T & A: We love attending sporting events with our family! We both share a love of sports and have attended nearly every home football game even after we moved to Nashville after we got married in 2017.

KC: What advice would you give incoming first-years about meeting other people and relationships/friendships?

Be open to relationships while in and after school, but being on your own timeline is okay too! It took my husband and me over a year to meet after a friend initially tried getting us to meet. Regardless of the delay, it all worked out!

Huge thanks to Taylor and Adam for sharing your Mississippi Love Story- HAIL STATE! We can't wait to see your love continue to grow <3
