It wasn't until I moved to New York for a summer, that I understood the importance of the ‘accessory’; layers of chains, subtle and bold, gold and silver, a pop of color. Working at a jewelry company, I was surrounded by women who knew that a headband or a big hat were functional statement pieces, that white sneakers were not all made equal, and that styling jewelry rarely involved only one necklace. After working at KYLE CAVAN for only a few weeks, I quickly realized fashion was for everyone, but style is subjective.
