Gig 'Em! A Legacy of Aggies

We’re excited to celebrate our new partnership with The Association of Former Students! Together, we created the New Texas A&M Aggie Ring Crest Pendants and Cufflinks — a timeless complement to the ring and a beautiful way to carry your Aggie story always. To honor the tradition behind the design, we also spent time with the Harvey family — a proud four-generation legacy— as Jamesen ’27 and her grandmother Anna Bell ’70 shared what the Spirit of Aggieland has meant to their family from the 1930s to today.

Jamesen is proudly continuing her family's tradition at Texas A&M. Her parents, Rick ’96 and Joy Harvey ’97, are both alumni, as are her grandparents, Anna Bell '70 and Roger ’68. Now, Jamesen is carrying the legacy forward and is set to graduate in 2027!

Styling the New Texas A&M Aggie Ring Crest Pendant with Jamesen and Anna Bell

"It’s honestly such a special feeling to carry on a tradition that runs so deep in my family. Being a fourth gen Aggie, I’ve grown up surrounded by the values, traditions, and pride that Texas A&M stands for. Knowing that my great grandfathers, grandparents, and parents all walked this same campus makes me feel connected to something much bigger than myself. One of the most meaningful parts for me is that my grandma was one of twelve in the first class of women admitted to A&M. This reminds me every day that being an Aggie is not just about tradition, but also about progress and paving the way for future generations. Carrying on that legacy motivates me to leave my own mark here, just as my family did." - Jamesen
