This grad season, we're celebrating all the incredible grads that form part of our Cavan Crew. We caught up with, UVA grad, Gracie Williams to find out a little bit about her college journey and where she's headed after grad.
Tell us a little bit about your college journey.
I am originally from Charlottesville, Virginia! I graduated undergrad in 2022 and immediately went back to school for my nursing degree. I am now graduating from the University of Virginia with my Masters in nursing, and a concentration in clinical nurse leadership.
What are your passions and hobbies outside of nursing?
At UVA, I am a part of the women’s club soccer team and the graduate student nurse’s organization. Outside of school, I am a coach at [solidcore] and I also coach a high school soccer team! My favorite memories of school would be my trips to Austin, Texas for nationals with my soccer team! Playing the sport I love with the people I love is something I will never forget. I am currently preparing to take my NCLEX and then will be moving to New York to be a nurse up there! I am so excited!!
What advice do you have for incoming college students?
Don’t be afraid to join that club or group you’ve been thinking about! Involve and immerse yourself in your community.
