The Cavan Crew is full of incredible women doing great things, and Franny O'Brien is one of them!

Franny's college journey began even before she received her acceptance letter, and it has now turned into a legacy of lacrosse at Notre Dame.
Picture this: Notre Dame, 1988. O'Brien, a lacrosse and hockey player, is leaving his mark in Notre Dame's sporting history. And just 36 years later, his children are doing the same. The O'Brien family's legacy of athletic excellence and dedication is a huge part of their pride and will continue for years to come. With her older brother as an alum and her younger sister now joining her on the lacrosse team, Notre Dame is more than just a tradition for Franny—it’s truly a family affair!
Aside from her athletic career, Franny is also a business student, nature lover, and social butterfly. She leads a pretty busy life. However, over time, she's developed strong time management skills and effective ways to maintain a balance between college, sports, and social life. When she’s not on the field, you’ll often find her at the Mendoza College of Business, pursuing her management degree, or making memories with friends.
Franny knows firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle academics and fun as a college student. Her advice?
“Stay organized and find a system that works for you. This way, you’ll always know where you need to be and what needs to get done.”
Franny go-to jewelry and fave way to show off her team pride are the Notre Dame Go Irish Horizontal Bar Necklace and Golden Dome Pendant.
