E: My favorite place on campus is DKR stadium! I have spent many Saturdays there watching the Longhorns win with my best friends by my side!
E: My favorite memories from college have always included my best friends (and roommates), Grace and Olivia! We love going to baseball games and exploring Austin together! I couldn’t be more thankful to have such amazing best friends by my side. I am so thankful to the Texas Exes scholarship programs for introducing me to this community!
O: My favorite memory is our Forty Acres Scholars freshman retreat, which took place before college even officially began. It was the moment I realized I already had 20 incredible friends I’d share the next four years with thanks to Texas Exes. That experience set the tone for everything to come and made UT feel like home from the very beginning.

We sat down with Ella and Olivia to get to know them a little more!
What does Texas Exes Mean to You?
E: The Texas Exes is a very special foundation that has such an important impact throughout the University of Texas! The Texas Exes are so important to me because of their involvement on campus and their love for the Texas traditions! I can’t wait to be a Texas Ex one day and be a part of such an amazing community of Longhorn alumni .
O: Even as an undergraduate student, Texas Exes already means so much to me. It represents a lifelong community I know I’ll be part of well beyond graduation. Through the Forty Acres Scholars Program, Texas Exes has given me an incredible college experience filled with opportunities, mentorship, and friendships that have shaped my time at UT in the most meaningful way. I feel deeply grateful knowing this support and connection will continue for years to come.
What is Your Favorite Place on Campus?
E: My favorite place on campus is DKR stadium! I have spent many Saturdays there watching the Longhorns win with my best friends by my side!
O: The UT Tower is my favorite spot on campus by far. I’m so thankful we have such a meaningful landmark that represents unity, pride, and the spirit of what it means to be a Longhorn.
